We tried our first "Workbook Wednesday" yesterday and to my disappointment it did not go so well.
My original idea for the day was to complete two pages, something red and something blue but we were only able to get one completed. The first problem is that it took my son a long time to find the "perfect" red pictures, he also had a very hard time cutting out the pictures despite reports from his Occupational Therapist that he has mastered this skill and by the time the glue stick came out he was already running around the kitchen.
I still think my Workbook Wednesday book can work, I just need to find a new approach and possibly some more magazines with "better" pictures.
